What are the operating hours of the Reservations Centre?
Reservations operate from 09:00 to 18:00, every day of the week.

Is it necessary to guarantee my reservation? How is it done?
Yes. The guarantee depends on the conditions of the rate chosen. You may be asked for a valid card or advance payment via secure link or bank transfer.

Can I make changes to my reservation?
If you have any questions about your reservations, changes or cancellations, please contact our reservations department.

What are my travel options from the airport to the Resort?
If needed, we can arrange a private transfer to Monchique Resort & Spa, directly from Faro Airport or from a bus or train station. Book online in the "Transfer" section and benefit from the best available prices.

Does the hotel offer special rates, packages, promotions or offers?
Yes. Our reservations centre will be pleased to arrange any of our offers for your stay.

Does the hotel offer adapted / accessible rooms?
Yes. At Monchique Resort and Spa there are adapted rooms for guests with reduced mobility. The suites are adapted for wheelchairs as well as the entrance to the shower. For more information, please contact our reservations centre.

What payment methods are accepted?
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron and cash.

Where can I rent a car?
You can rent a car through our reservations department when making your reservation, or directly at the resort reception.

Are cots and high chairs provided by the Resort?
Cots and chairs are subject to availability. Please indicate in your reservation if you will need any of these items.

Is smoking allowed at the Resort? What is the policy regarding electronic cigarettes?
Smoking is strictly prohibited in enclosed spaces within the Resort, regardless of the type of cigarette. However, smoking is permitted on the balconies of the Suites and in all outdoor spaces.

Are bed linens and towels provided?
We provide all bed linens and towels.

Are there bathrobes in the rooms?
All our suites have bathrobes for our guests.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is until 12:00.

What are the reception hours?
The reception is open every day, 24 hours.

Where can I store my luggage?
Next to the reception there is a luggage room where you can store your luggage whenever needed.

Can I extend my check-out time?
You can request an extension directly at the reception, the day before your departure and subject to hotel availability.

Are pets allowed at the Resort?
Yes, they are allowed. Pets must not exceed 25kg, with the exception of guide dogs. No other pets other than dogs and cats will be accepted. An additional daily fee applies.

Can I fully use the leisure facilities at the Resort?
During your stay, you can use the 2 outdoor pools and the gym free of charge. The gym is open 24 hours. The indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna are part of our Sensorial Spa where an entrance fee is charged.

Does the Resort have parking?
The hotel has an underground garage at no additional cost for guests.

Is it possible to reserve a space in the garage?
There is no need to pre-book parking spaces in the garage.

Do you have a pool(s) at the Resort?
Yes. The Resort has three pools: an indoor pool integrated into the Spa treatment area, with paid access, an outdoor pool next to the Cascata Bar and a covered heated outdoor pool, located in Block C, next to the children's playground.

Do you provide pool towels around the pool?
Yes, we provide towels in the pool area and it is a free service for all our guests.

Is there a safe in the Suite, and what is the cost?
All suites are equipped with a safe at no additional cost.

What is the gym equipment?
We have a gym equipped with 2 x Treadmills, 2 x Ellipticals, 2 x Stationary Bikes, 2 x Kinesis, 1 x Trampoline, 1 x Vibroplate and a selection of free weights, TRX.

How far is the nearest train station from the hotel?
The nearest train station is Portimão, approximately 22 minutes (17.4km) away.

Is there public transport near the Resort?
There is a bus stop right outside the Resort, which makes it easy to reach Monchique, as well as the city of Portimão. Timetables are always available at reception.

How far are you from the beach?
We have some beaches just a few kilometres from the Resort. The nearest beaches are about 25 minutes drive away. Praia da Rocha is approximately 22 km, Alvor is 25 km and Lagos is 35 km.

Do you provide adapters?
Yes, adapters are available at reception subject to availability. You can also leave your equipment at reception to be charged in case there are no adapters available.

Is it possible to rent a smartphone charger if I forget mine?
We do not provide chargers. Contact reception so we can charge your equipment.

What is the price of breakfast, if not included in my rate?
Most of our rates already include breakfast, however, if you wish to purchase upon arrival, the price is €20 per adult.

Is internet free at the Resort?
Our guests have free Wi-Fi access throughout the Resort.

What are the dining options at the hotel?
We have 3 restaurants and 2 bars that operate seasonally. Please check our website for more details.

Is there an iron and ironing board at the resort?
Yes. You can request an iron and ironing board on-request, subject to availability. Laundry service is also available, whose prices and conditions are in your suite.

What are the nearest golf courses to the Resort?
Morgado golf course 20min (16.5km), Amendoeira Golf course 29min (34.2km), Palmares Golf course 31min (31.3km), Boavista Golf course 32min (39.4km)

Do you organize walking tours from the hotel?
Yes, our Leisure Team offers various free guided tours for our guests. You can choose shorter walks to Caldas de Monchique, as well as a longer hike to the heart of the Village of Monchique, where you can enjoy a traditional drink or eat some Monchique snacks (extra cost). Please contact our Leisure Team for a guided map if you prefer to discover the area on your own.

Are taxi services available if needed?
Reception can arrange the taxi service upon request with at least 20 minutes notice. You can also book your transfer online through the "Transfer" option on our website.

Can children use the Spa?
The Spa is for ages 16 and over only.
